App needs work desparately - camera quality, Android N, etc. Mobile deposit is crystal clear when taking the photo, but then the app transforms the crystal clear image into a blurry mess. It causes ALL deposits to have issues submitting which is unacceptable. ML please invest $2 to fix this issue. Also, my Nexus 6P running Android N Beta, is unable to login or view anything past the stock listing screen. App is useless on the beta OS. Recent updates have not addressed the cameras issue for mobile deposits on my lollipop or Marshmallow devices.
Screen utilization is not optimized Nearly 50% of screen is used for menus and icons, making it problematic to view portfolio information. We live in a mobile world - a major update is overdue. So frustrating.
Pretty good app I'd like to see a better use of charts
GUI to busy, Too Many Permissions The interface for the app is wayyyyyy too busy. There is just text everywhere. I understand it is a finance app, but there was no design work put into this app. The designers seems to just want to display everything from the desktop website all at once. For better design, see the Robinhood app or even the BoA app. Also, why so many permissions? Need to see my wifi connection info: why? My devices ID and phone number: why? Those are just two of the unnecessary permissions. Please explain the need for each.
Improving, widget not functional The app gets updated and improved, which is better than most. The widget never seems to work though
Deposit Check feature is crap Whenever I try to deposit a check, unless I'm in direct sunlight (which isn't very often) the flash will go off when I take a picture of a check. It takes the picture IMMEDIATELY after the flash goes off, resulting in an overly dark image. It would work fine if the flash didn't go off.
