Pity Australia Doesn't Have This This app is wonderful! I have been searching every possible website for months now to educate myself of vitamins and mineral in foods to determine if I need a pregnancy multivitamin... And then I found this app. It's a pity it is american and so I don't religiously follow the exact mg/mcg, but it's close. It identifies Choline as an important vit&min and therefore right there is one whole star of the 4 stars I gave it. Now I feel all I do need is a Folic Acid and Iron suppliment.
Bad database I did a search for "banana" (the raw fruit) and had to comb through a million results (mostly for baby food) to find "raw banana" buried in the middle. On top of that, it gave me info for "100 grams" of banana. Why not a whole banana? It's too much of a hassle to understand the data. I'm uninstalling the app right now.
Search engine ridiculous I eat very healthy so when I search "banana", for example, I have to scroll through baby foods, soups, cereals, and more until I find banana. Otherwise I like the app OK.
Great app - room for improvement Hi - I love the app.. it was difficult to find in the app store. Would you consider adding the following to the app? - ability to track sodium - ability to add notes to the food item and/or the category and / or the day. I am currently using this app to record all my food intake to then provide to my Dr. to determine what my symptoms are and allow these entries to print out on the exported document. Thank you, V
Good Idea But Falls Way Short I got this app because its supposed to provide more comprehensive nutritional value tracking than others. Unfortunately the food database is very incomplete. When trying to add foods I am forced to enter kcals (whatever THAT is). There are no instructions for how to calculate this. What I found online doesn't work in this app. Why can't I just enter calories??? No reply to my email. Would have been too cumbersome to keep adding foods anyway. Had to delete. Too bad.
Good idea but need to be easier to add foods It would be nice to be able adjust the input weight to the nutrition values on the container. Also to be able to copy foods and/or add scan codes to the predefined foods in the database. But once you get the food entered it is quite easy.
- Improved performance and overall app responsiveness
- Fixed crash when adding food to daily records
- Added tracking of Sugars, Fiber and Starch
- Added possibility to change food record date
