First time on diet after 33 years.....this is a blessing! When I first started using this app, I was sure it would not work for me. After serious time and effort I have figured out how to use it. You def need math skills and commitment though. The best part is being able to use the help tab which sends an email to the creator and he is very quick in responding. We emailed several times in one day! I love this app now and could not live without it! .....scan bar did not work for me but I have not asked for help either lol Def recommend this app
For US mainly Could be a great app!With lots of nutrition information display, not like the other apps that minimise information to three vitamins and carbs/fat. Not intuitive at all, but great design (looks professional) Also in plus info about all nutrition. Keep installed and waiting for improvements.
Good but could be better Good enough app, a bit unintuitive and no directions or help so you just have to figure it out. Good features- compiles daily nutrition intake including phe, calories, vitamins, fibre etc, and %rdi, option of emailing records to you/your dietician. Also can keep track of phe blood levels and weight. Drawbacks - can't see most brand names for low protein foods in search; when entering values for new foods everything must be entered for a 100g serving which is annoying.
Great but. .. I love this, however cos I don't live in the us I have to input virtually everything myself, I'm also lucky I changed formulas because you didn't have my last one. If it could be made compatible with other countries ie even versions for other countries (I.e new Zealand please! ! ) I would be super greatful, but even so this is a really good app despite the labor of putting all my food values in myself
Good little companion Makes managing a PKU diet a little easier as you don't have to use your brain as much; which is probably a bad thing. Mostly US based, but adaptable
Excellent app Appmakes tracking calories and phe very convient!! I would have given 5 star rating but I keep getting errors trying to run reports.
