About this app

DMSS is a mobile surveillance app with functions such as remote monitoring, video playback, push notifications, device initialization, and remote configuration. Devices such as IPC, NVR, XVR, VTO, doorbells, alarm hubs, and access controllers can be added. After logging to the account, you can use cloud services like cloud upgrade and so on. The app supports iOS 9.0 and Android 5.0 or later systems, and can be used with 3G/4G/Wi-Fi.

Video playback facilities are very poor. Video timelines are hard to work with. During playback, it is difficult to synchronize the video of several cameras. On the main page, there are non-functional options such as door. It shouldn't exist for me as I don't use this option. "superlive plus" is much easier to play video. Please improve the app.

Logs me out daily which means whenever I need it in a hurry, it's not available for almost a minute. It also seems to crash whenever I've needed it in a hurry, requiring a force stop and re-open. I really wish they'd allow you to edit the function available on each cameras toolbar to match the cameras capabilities. I don't need to see buttons I can't use, but I'd like to see buttons I can use. Also, why did they remove focus adjustment? I wish dahua would invest in UX for their apps.

I went back to gmss because video playback wouldn't play on DMSS. I'm glad to see that's been resolved. Another thing I'm noticing is video playback crashes much less. As long as this is maintained, DMSS will be my app of choice. Of course keep improving the stability One thing I am noticing is the apple version gets more alerts. For example I have a driveway camera. I'll get alerts for tripwire for Apple that don't alert on the android version
