Background ping isn't very usable Won't show when the net stops working: foreground doesn't show pings ran in the background, no summary when stopping infinite pinging, e-mailing only sends the last foreground batch. Uninstalling.
Excellent app Works as intended. Does the job as described 100 percent. Most of the people having problems with it are because of the phones they are using, not the program. I find it to be a reliable and very useful tool for network administration.
Root Required Seems like a really neat tool, but you need to root your phone before you can actually use it (atleast on my Galaxy S3) Note this isn't the app's fault. Perhaps I will add a better review if I ever root my phone. My rating goes to the visuals of the app, its clean and easy to use, Im not going to give it a 5 stars because I can't use it to its fullest and that would not be a honest thing to do, so here take a 4 star rating!
Not very useful Looks like it stops pinging if you switch away from it. You can save a host but there is no way to use the saved info.
Doesn't work My phone is rooted, but the app will not do anything. It just says ping should not run with Privileges and does squat all
Crashes my tablet Whenever I try to ping Google, my Nexus 10 reboots.
- Remove annoying notification from status bar upon completion. I am very sorry for putting it there in the first place.
- Fixed crashes on some devices.
- Change to ask you to only agree once - Thank you John Moreau & Donald Weinshank for the feedback.
Refresh app with a new icon.
Rewrite large part of the program to support pinging in the background.
Adapt app to larger screen devices.
Display ads when exiting the application.
