As a child who's parents put the app on my phone, the software is far from perfect. I have figured out how to play Spotify and watch YouTube videos while the phone is supposed to be locked. Without a password. The app is constantly messing with other apps on my phone. One time another app was constantly freezing and my phone said "mm guardian not responding". I regularly have to restart my phone because of this app. When there's an update to fix a problem, they always replace it with new one.

Hi Daniel, please ask your parent to email if the app is behaving as it shouldn't. Thank you.

To put it straight, this app actually drains the battery of the child phone its attached to, and slows it down. How do I know this? Two identical phones, same age, just bought. The one without it on lasted 13 hours of playing a video, rather smoothly, while the one with the app barely lasted 9, with frequent interruptions due to it having to buffer. All in all, poor design choice.

MMGuardian definitely shouldn't slow the phone down and should barely use any battery. There was probably another factor that affected your test, otherwise we would have more users complaining. If you email a screenshot of your battery usage stats from your phone's Settings to, we'll look into it for you.

It stops working randomly, and if my kids get a text from a new friend they never receive the text, because their numbers aren't in the phone. We have to un install the app, add the number, then reinstall it. I do like it for everything it does, but it seems extremely out dated and needs to be re-vamped. And the phone lock feature would work on one phone, but not another.

Hi Katelynn, texts shouldn't be blocked at all unless you have Contact Block enabled. It sounds like you might have it in "Allow" mode which will block all numbers not on the list of approved contacts. Please email if you need help, or if you'd like to give us feedback about how you think the app should be revamped.
