The Fluency Direct™ Mobile Microphone is a mobile application that allows clinicians to dictate using the Fluency Direct Desktop Application without the need for a physical microphone attached to the PC. Once the mobile application is paired onetime with a Fluency Direct User ID, the user of the application can dictate using M*Modal Fluency Direct running on any physical desktop or virtual device without a need for docking, Bluetooth or physical connections. The Application uses secure data transmission to stream audio from the mobile device directly to Fluency Direct running elsewhere. It builds on the same cloud-based Speech Understanding™ technology powering all 3M solutions, so existing clinician voice profiles can be used easily and instantly for optimal accuracy.

'okay' transcribing. Easy enough to use for basic functions, but not super easy to train for advanced functions. Got a new pixel 6 pro. Switched over without problems. Worked as usual for a couple weeks. Now the app opens for a brief second and then shuts down. Can't get it to connect. Not sure what happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted phone. Rebooted computer. Tried multiple computers. Old phone still connects, so at least I have a fix. But definitely not convenient. HELP

Using mobile mic always freezes resulting in having to end the program via task manager and relaunch which is painfully slow to reload.... Like several minutes. And will happen again within a half hour. Same thing occurs regardless of using different computers and mobile devices. Total garbage. I'm sure corporate contracts are the reason they stay in business

The latency introduced by this app and the fact that our hospital system forces us to use it when working remotely rather than just allowing me to use a proper dictaphone plugged into my USB port over Citrix makes it infuriating. NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CLINICAL USE! If you added the ability to select an external USB microphone in android and iOS versions then I could maybe make it usable on my phone. Thankfully it works ok with bluestacks, which allows me to use a usb microphone on my computer.
