Nice idea but fails I tried this on my tablet and phone and no matter what setting it could not give me the correct color. Most of the time Whites was blues , browns were reds, grays were greens. Tried with and without flash. Tried selecting type of lighting and it made no difference.
Very good app, does what it says on the box This is very handy for colorblind people like myself. Like with all similar apps, you get best results with good lighting conditions (daylight). I find it great that the size of the app is small, cudos to the developer for that. Not every little app needs to be based on cordova. On my Vodafone 845 (Huaway) I don't get any color balance options even though the built-in camera app has a few options. A good idea might be to be able to calibrate by asking the user to print out a picture with reference colors on their computer's printer and then to point the camera to it. Then the app could compute the current bias due to lighting conditions on all three channels using a reflective surface (it wouldn't work on a computer monitor as it is itself a lightsource). Of course that would also be dependent on the color fidelity of the printer, paper and ink. Oh well...
I've needed this my entire life! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! No more asking random people while clothes shopping. No more being made fun of for "not matching" whatever the f that's supposed to mean. App works perfectly easy, point and it tells you the color. That's so awesome!
Awesome for those with difficulty seeing color! Only gripe is that using the flash skews the color mix. Black becomes purple, ping becomes violet. Any chance you could add a flash calibration or ability to turn off the flash entirely?
Good Good app but there is no option ti shut down that irritating noise when taking a picture, would be great to fix it... Trying to use is on my new xpera S (jelly beans) but doesnt work :(
Bad color iding Colors found were way off. Similar apps work in real time without needing a photo.
Now keeps camera aspect ratio.
Reduced app size and optimized code.
