No charts and news. I cannot see all I want on holdings page - today gain and total gain - all together and by each stock separately. I have another investment account at BMO - much better app - I even hardly need computer. But CIBC - too NOT informative and plus complicating to see what I need if ever possible at all. No refresh button at any page (on the web it's almost the same). I ordered trade on the computer - the delays and absence of convenience to see info I need - all negative vote
It's a very outdated app, needs work on the layout and overall appeal to it, I use other apps that are much more appealing for information. It should be a one stop shop. Use webul support you grey updated quores. This app is about 15min behind. I only use it because I bank with them. Anyone who gives it a 5star rating either works for them or doesn't understand the delay
It's pretty much the lamest trading app I've used. Can't input decimal, everything is rounded of to a whole number. Ie. It's either a 6 or a 7. I bought acb, but wanted to execute the order at $6.9 or $6.85 per share, but it's not letting me. Hence, I had to buy at 7. Not good at all. Even the currency conversion is not shown. From CAD to USD, bought US stocks does not tell you how much you're buying it at. The only reason why I'm using this app is I bank with them. If you create accounts with Web bull, etoro and meta trader you will have all functionalities this app does not offer. This app is antiquated that the price quoted are15 minutes delayed. Who trades these days not knowing where to buy your support and resistance prices? These other guys that gave this app 4 or 5 stars are either paid by cibc or oblivious to the latest trading app.
Very slow. Doesnt give accurate market info. Poor platform and glitchy. Lost trades cause of glitches and phone lines wait times.
So far, it's been the worst experience ever trying to set this app/account up. Took about 6 hours of my time, and 2 weeks of waiting for conversations back and forth with the support person. Hopefully my opinion will change.... Edit: after a month of trying to make this work, it shut down, and it took me 2 weeks to finally get a response from 5 emails I sent to the Customer Service line. My account was shut down because the person who was supposed to manage it went on a leave and no one else was able to get anything done. Worst managed program I've ever dealt with. I lost a lot of time and even more money trying to get their problems sorted out. In the end, I told them to delete my account so I could go trade with someone who actually provides service. I wish I could give zero stars.
Outdated and very minimal information available. No way to track the growth of your portfolio. Way too basic.
