Soooo... Why can't I go and view all the drives in a month after I've classified them.. I drive for a living, long haul. I thought this would actually let me track an entire day but at the end of the day it tells me I have 5, 9, or however different drives and I can seem to go tell it which "drives" are actually just 1. The idea is great, and yeah it tracks pretty accurately. But when I stop. To use a restroom, or fuel up, or take my required break, I don't need it racking up my drive counter unnecessarily.
The app is ok. I tried it today and it recognized 3short drives but not my last drive of the day which was longer. I drove like 15 outside my city. I stopped for 10 min then drove home. I will not be paying for this since I did not record the data. Now I'll have to guesstimate. Will pay for a guaranteed app. To developers: I have a amazing phone, I'm mobile device savvy. My phone is up to date.
Uneven reporting on an Android. It works about 80% of the time except with my latest phone where it works about 50% of the time. Can't be depended upon. Contacted tech support and got no response! Update on 11/13/17: Mileiq responds here and directs me to email them at their support email address. This was done as stated in the few lines above. No response by email but a pretense of a response here.
I've downloaded but not this app simply to leave an opinion and ask a few questions. I gave you 5 stars to help in that respect as well. I'm assuming this app keeps track of everywhere I go. When I go. How much gas I buy. Where I buy it or am told to buy it. As well as organize everything you now know about me and every move I make, for use in tax deductions too. And, much, much, much, more? Plus I can continue to willingly pay you MONTHLY to continue doing so? Well, I can't drive so the app is of no use to me what-so-ever anyway. Either way though I would not use this app at all. I don't feel comfortable giving anyone too much information about my personal life or habits. Who knows who might also want that information you have collected. If I CAN ever drive, I'll use the trip meter in the car or just right down my mileage on paper and keep the receipts of my gas purchases instead. That seems just as easy. Thank you for your time. Have a wonderful day.
Great app for doing my business mileage. Can sometimes through up multiple journeys for one trip but that's probably down to traffic delays en route. Love the way it will email a pdf at the end of the month showing all trips!
Works for me in the UK, just have to remember that some drives will lag and you won't get a log of them straight away. It is brilliant and super easy as I have a very busy life with young family and organising by swiping is awesome! I then just store the monthly reports in my email folder and job sorted for taxes.
