The Yale Smart Living Alarm App gives you control of your Yale Smart Alarm system from your smartphone. App works with Yale Sync Alarms, Yale SR-Smart Home Alarms, EF-KIT3, EF3000i, HSA6600, & Yale Alarm Kit (AU)

The app is so annoying. It keeps asking for password every time you open or close the app. Put it on fingerprint log in and it's the same. It still keeps asking for password even when minimising or closing the app. You can't keep entering your password when you are in a rush or when others are watching. This is more of a risk rather then security app. So disappointed after spending £500 on the Yale products. The app just let the whole company down. The equipment is good. Fix the app bug please

Yale periodically asks for the password instead of biometric log-on. Why? The password is long and cannot be viewed as you type which adds to the frustration. Totally over the top. Last night I was unable to arm the system as I could not achieve an exact password match but decided to stop trying for fear of being locked-out. This system is not conducive to normal usage and needs fixing. I have asked Yale to sort this but we will see if any response comes.

The app is perfectly functional , but it periodically logs me out in the background without notifying me (presumably after an update). This would be fine but if I'm logged out , and I don't know that I'm logged out, I have effectively no remote monitoring. This is still happening in June 2026, so it doesn't appear as if the developers can fix it.
