Gmail is not granting the permission to this app due to OAuth 1.0. i have checked this app on almost 5 different devices but it is not working due to "Grant gmail permission" error. i have also checked all the instructions given by the xtrasec but all in vain.
Great App Needs Fixin I was super thankful for this app when someone stole my fone a few years back. Once the thief plugged in a new simcard, I got a text message using my alternative number. I also get photos captured from my front cam whenever someone encodes the wrong pattern or password on my phone after a number of times. However, Google wont authorize permission anymore and I can't use most of the app's functions. Please fix this so we can all benefit from this otherwise great app.
Great app but not very safe I had a guy that I was "talking to" Install this app bc it sounded neat..then I found out he was trackin where I was at..not very safe if anyone has your password but if your the only one that knows it then it is a wonderful app and does exactly what it is supposed to do
GMail not authorising. My subscription has expired and will not be renewing until the GMail authorisation issue is sorted. Once sorted I will go back to five stars as never had an issue in the past. Update ... Have emailed developer but had no response. Very poor support.
Awesome app! Thanks Developers for developing such an awesome app. My hats off to you guys! :) I have a suggestion though. Can you prevent the de-activating of the Android device Admin? Some clever ones know about this and they can simply go into settings and disable that, after which makes the app useless. I know some apps that require them to input their password before the option can be unchecked. And also, sent photos are black. Otherwise, a overall best anti thief app on the app store. Well done! :)
I have changed password - still get same error on trying to activate XtraSEC. I love you - but PLEASE HELP! There are links in the error message to help you switch to Oauth 2! "Google no longer supports OAuth 1.0 You’re being redirected to this article because the application you’re using uses OAuth 1.0, and we only support the newer OAuth 2.0 at this time. I am not a software developer. What does any of this mean? OAuth is a security measure that lets you connect your Google account to third-party services (like a contacts manager or social network) without ever entering your Google username and password. It’s great because it’s easy for you and it means third-party applications won’t be able to see your username and password. What can I do to get back to work? I am a software developer. How should I upgrade my applications? Please follow our instructions to help you migrate from OAuth 1.0 to OAuth 2.0." I hate it at this moment, because I've loved it so long, and my heart breaks that I am unable to get it going on my Galaxy Note 4 EVEN after changing Google Password.
For those who having "unable to connect" issue, there is some auth issue with your Google account. Quick fix: Change your Google account password and try activate again.
*Update to Google GCM
*Add SMS commands to capture high res photo
*Fixed root bug, all features should working fine now.
