Great tech news source but at the cost of my phone always tagging this app as the top few most phone battery resource demanding app...not sure what it needs to process continuously in the background when I am not using it!
Easy to use simple Has a good selection of tech sites but one problem I've found is, some websites the text does not copy over fully so have to open the page in browser to view full article.
I LIVE IN THE UK!!! I do like this app but why when I live in the UK and the settings say UK version does it almost always show deals from the US in dollars that only serve to frustrate especially when its a phone I would be interested in buying but can't as the deal only applies to America? Would like to be kept up to date on UK deals please not things I can't buy!!!
Best app but.. Appygeek was one of my favorite apps since day one i switched to Android platform, but after recent updates they introduced advertisements in their app which is very very annoying for me. "You guys can find a better way to put those advertisement, like any other game apps do( putting them before closing the app)".
2.5 years later, no longer any good! You would think as time goes on an app would become better; not so with this one! Back then, I said it was "almost excellent". Now, only Top Stories works; EVERYTHING else crashes! Also, the widgets are now a useless joke! Or maybe, it just hates a rooted LG G3 running KK! At any rate, it's gone. BTW, best layout and why I thought it was the best tech app. Still, if it doesn't work, it doesn't matter; it's still useless.
My Tech reference I discovered Appy Geek through its sister app News Republic. It follows a very similar format of quality news sources and great personalization to give me a summary of all the breaking news that's important to me. I found this app to be even more impressive as the breadth and depth of tech news is quite amazing. This saves me a ton of time by not having to trawl several apps and websites to get the news that I need. Well done the developer!
