What does an Airalo eSIM plan come with?
- An Airalo package comes with data (e.g., 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, etc.) valid for a specified time period (e.g., 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, etc.). If you run out of data or your validity period expires, you can top up your eSIM or download a new one right from the Airalo app.

How much does it cost?

Ratings and reviews

POS app. Doesn't work. Says my device is rooted. It's not rooted. Probably has something to do with the fact that this app has 9 trackers in it according to Exodus. I've also been told that they severely price gouge in this app with prices as much as three times as much as that which you would expect to pay with purchasing physical SIM cards locally. I was willing to give it a shot anyway but not now!

since I don't use too much data it would be nice if all the plans lasted for 30 days. Update: turns out that topping up a plan does not extend the expiration of unused data from a previous purchase. I had 20GB for 30 days, and near the end of that time I had about 5GB remaining. I bought a 3GB for 30 day top up, with the expectation that my remaining data would also extend for 30 more days. This did not happen. I lost 5GB that I paid for, which just vanished. Not happy.

Airalo is completely unreliable trash with zero support, that best case scenario takes 5-10 hours or a day later to actually get back to you, and then is unhelpful. We had multiple issues with our esims in Chile, from issues with connection failure to the esims just stopping to work completely despite there being both data remaining and valid 4g networks available to connect to. The fix? Switch to an esim provider that simply works such as Holafly or Saily. Airalo has 2.3 stars on Trustpilot 🤦
