De Naja' Handy
It's simple but Easy functionality and the lessons are very simplified and easy to understand. I haven't had any issues like crashing and such. So this is a good app choice for those studying 日本語.

Close to perfection I have long been looking for a Japanese tutorial that is complete and this is One!! Theres the formatted lesson with details where you xan easily follow. If you can enable simultaneous downloading of lessons instead of awaiting for each leason download to be finished before user can select the next number to download? Overall, this in an awesome apps and very helpful to beginners. Arigato gozaimasu!!
Wow. Beyond words This app is wonderfully great for review like me or for beginners. It's a great app especially because it includes cultural norms, but also visual context as well. An app to practice writing the syllables of katakana hiragana and kanji (advanced) would go well in combination to this app. Arigato Japan
Magnificent For A Complete Beginner I just read and listened to the first lesson and enjoyed it very much. Size of app was small and downloading the lesson and listening went on smoothly. I could go forward and back when listening. It was very educative. The audio lesson is lenghty and presented in a fun way. It explains many things about the lessons plus extra information are provided. You could use this app as the first step and a window towards knowing about the Japanese language and culture. Really helpful! (For those wondering, you have to download the sound files first on the Download Lessons before you get to hear them, thus the "cannot download lesson" pop-up.) I fell in love with the Listening Japanese app and decided to try this one since they're the same NHK World lessons. What I really love in this app are the text descriptions and the images. They make it easier to review words/statements mentioned in the lessons. And, it's free! ありがとうございます！(≧∇≦)b
Great app, shame about the advertising. The app is very good from the radio and web course by NHK. However there is an advertising banner, which is OK, the app was free. Some of the adverts do not however seem to be appropriate for a reptile publisher such as NHK. One was flashing that my phone was infected with a virus. Another said my memory was full and I had to delete stuff. A third was flashing that I had received mail. I do not think NHK should associate themselfs with these sorts of businesses.

Thanks you & Sorry for the inconvenience. No Audio? Why for each lesson that I tap on it keeps saying that the audio could not be downloaded. I downloaded this app for the sole purpose of LISTENING to Japanese dialogue. Without that option, this app is useless to me. Those other apps that uses this apps information are doing a better job with it. Deleting.
