I like the concept and I liked the meditation when I did it, but both times I used this app I found it stressful how unreliable the heartrate measure is. The first time it told me I was dead (0bpm) time after time before I could even begin, so I was frustrated and disappointed and no longer in the space to try a meditation. The second time I got through that part, but in the end it told me my mood got worse because of the session - really, by the time I got the monitor to work and was onto the question, I was irritated by having to try so many times... Not dropping the app yet but perhaps there could be something to be done to improve this? Or a 'more help' panel to help prevent failure if people need to press harder/softer or remove their phone case or something if it doesn't work first time?
It is one of the most helpful and insightful meditation apps, the free trial gives you a lot of time to actually practice and track meditations and you can start gradually to build up your confidence into controlling your breath and thoughts. My only question is what does the subscription offer, are there more lessons because you have a specific set and if you pass through them once you do not get more points nor have more interactive features?
I found this app quite by accident. I checked it out and I love it. I don't like meditating however this app makes it easy and it is interactive which I really like. Check it out I think you may like it especially if mediating doesn't come easy to you. Peace
Have only done a couple lessons but so far it is effectively intorducing me to the concepts and practice of medition.
So far I have enjoyed it.
