The AWS Events app is your companion in planning and navigating AWS Summits and featured events like re:Invent and re:Inforce. Download the app to:

• Explore the sessions, experts, and exciting new services and features that will be available at AWS Events

• Plan your AWS Events experience by adding sessions of interest to your planner

• Find and reserve open seats, build your schedule, and resolve scheduling conflicts (reserved seating only available at certain events)

• Get real-time shuttle estimates to help you navigate the event campus (shuttle estimates and service only available at certain events)

• Get updates on the latest content, speakers, and services added to the catalog

Ratings and reviews

Pretty bad. SUPER unresponsive. A lot of times, clicking items doesn't do anything. You have to leave the app to get a general agenda as well as FAQs and other information. No information as to session size so we can figure out the chances of getting into a session if we're on wait-list. Plus a ton of other super obvious problems.

For the most part the app does what it needs to, but at reinvent 2019 I keep getting notifications with useful information, then when I click them they disappear and I can't read the whole message or get it back. About half the time I load the app my schedule says it isn't available yet and I have to try for a few minutes to restart the app and my phone until I can get it to load.

Calendar is unusable and app frequently crashes on catalog. you cannot scroll left and right on the calendar without switching between the "reserved" and "favorites" category so I literally cant use the calendar. you also have to do so many small little swipes to go up and down on the calendar. this is not yo mention the app crashing while scrolling through the catalog. you would think Amazon would want to make a great app experience for their events but I guess not.
