Bought the PC version and loved it. Downloaded this version and enjoyed it as more of the same, until the typical freemium cash grabs started. No option to purchase full game and unlock everything, ads, and cash grabs can be ignored. Third stage is locked behind recruit a friend. Maybe it's just me but I don't like selling out friends. I wanted more of the pc version, but this was the lite version and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Get the PC version instead. It has no microtransactions, advertisements, or energy system to aggravate you. I would have given a better overall rating if this version didn't have this ridiculous energy system. Seriously, you can only start one fight every 10 minutes, and caps out at 5 fights once you exhaust your starting supply. This version is nothing but a cheap cash grab. Do not waste your time.
Tl;Dr : Was a good game, gamebreaking bugs now Used to be a great game months ago. I thought I would come back and play it a bit, but I got 2 gamebreaking bugs in the 5 minutes I played. I used limit break and time permanently slowed down to where nothing was moving except for the background. I couldn't even press pause. The second run I tried, after I threw a sword, I was unable to move, the left and right buttons were greed out and I was just standing there getting hit by enemies. I would just stay away from this game. Graphics and game play are fun, but the game is broken.
Game is really fun. Played it daily for the past 3 months. The thing that really ruined the experience was the frequent freezes as you play for longer periods on survival mode. There were quite a few times when I had really high scores and lost it all due to game freezing. Hope the devs can sort this out.
I love that you get to use awesome attacks and the bosses are amazing. But, however the only problem I have is that you have "stamina". Each time you lose all your stamina, (you have 5 btw) you have to wait at least an HOUR to have all your stamina back. You can level up to get at least 5 stamina but that's assuming that you can at least even play 26 thousand times to do that. But the verdict for this I have to say is an 8 out of 10.
Just get the PC version. It's free, has no play restrictions, and is MUCH more responsive. This version has a ridiculous energy system that limits how much you can play. The game frequently lags and doesn't register hits, rendering later missions and extended survival round play nearly impossible.
