I love it and it is the best app on the market for the price. Now I can tell u that I have already been to the chance of getting to hack into my free version of the same app for the 3.9 version. But I'm going to get this one time I don't think I'm gonna have a great deal on the way to get to the chance to be there for me to go to pay for it just one of the times I've got it for me I know that this one is so good at all times and it is so crazy about it when I got the app is worth the money if not then I'm gonna get it done by then I'll go with the program for the payment of more than that 5 bucks for the app.
Useful Free version is very useful and navigates well despite popping ads (but well, programmers need to eat too). Most used feature of interest is the creation of folders and the "move" function between internal storage and SD card. Only recommendation for improvement is that moving pictures changes the date of the file, and it makes gallery and other apps show them as "recent" instead of original snap date. Not sure if that can be fixed?
The guys at MobiSystems decided take it one step too far with their spam and adware notifications. It started by adding icons to the homescreen and now push notifications every few days with localized ads. The notifications are cleverly designed to try and disguise which app had sent them but can easily be detected with other tools. This is probably against Google’s Play Store TOS. Unfortunately, every Sony mobile device comes with File Commander pre-installed with no uninstall option – but the notifications can be completely disabled via Android’s app settings or disable the app instead.
This app will fill you notification log with spam advertisements. That's right, if you install it then you'll get random notifications with ads, notifications which are cleverly designed to try and disguise which app had sent them (the notifications don't say "File Commander", but if you look in the Android debugging you'll see that it's the one sending them). This is probably against some Play Store terms of service, and maybe if I find the energy I'll figure out how to report it to Google, but meanwhile consider yourself cautioned.
Don't know why everyone keeps giving bad feedback because it does what it's meant to plus more..I bought the pro version because it's not like I won't use it..ok so Sony outsources to this company but that tells you allot don't it..? Well it does to me..it says "we couldn't put together something as good as this company so if you want to use it then do.. if you want to buy pro...then do" I think it's as good as it gets..also love the secure/hidden mode and that you sign in via Google etc well done to this team 👏
Beggarware, delete This app has a habit to interfere at every few seconds to ask the user to give it money. And anyway, better file managing apps are available. I use ASUS file manager, others are a Google search away. For some reason, this app was pre-installed on my Sony phone. UPDATE: The app also creates sneaky ads for credit card loans in the notification bar. This happens when the app is not in use. So there is no reason to subject oneself to this nonsense.
