Oxford Dictionry It is my best dictionary,as well as my friend dictionary who i trusted. And likewise,it is the very dictionary that, i had acquired so many things and numerously lots of uncountable vocabularies, especially when i was a student. Lastly for anybody who wants to learns how to speak, correctly pronunciation and spellings of English languages. Nevertheless, oxford dictionary is enough for you. Try and remember that,it is an expo from,"Murtala Ahmad" famously known as(Morayy or Dan'umma),rest in peace.
Word of the day is pointless. The dictionary is fine. The word of the day is disappointing and ridiculously pointless. I'm not even extremely good with vocabulary, which is why I got a word of the day app, to learn new words. Find a way to get some meaningful words for the word of the day function. I'm taking the word of the day off my phone because I'm tired of pointless words like "bad hair day." I'll still keep the dictionary because I like to compare definitions from two dictionaries.
Great dictionary The best one out there. Too many dictionaries today have acquiesced to the notion that if, for example, "the people" use accidently instead of accidentally, as the correct spelling, dictionaries should offer it as an alternate spelling. Just because a word is in common usage, doesn't mean a dictionary should condone improper spelling because "everyone spells it that way"
Too much hassle to search a word Trying to do the simple task of finding the pronunciation of a word, between opening the app and finding said word I got the "go premium" ad 3 times, and a video ad too. Too much hassle and I can't even hear the pronunciation without paying. And I'm not even asking for it to be offline or something like that.
Ads make it difficult to use Way too many pop up ads, searching for a single word I have to click through several. I would buy the paid version but it is way overpriced for an app that can be easily substituted by multiple online tools.
Exciting I am amazed by the BORING list of reviews calling this outstanding app "boring". The OED app is, for me, exciting. Yes, I am weird, but I enjoy the extra treat of learning the etymology of the word I am looking up. Well worth the extra cost. I have had the OED on my phone since the flip-phone days, and it's usually been the first app I've installed on every new one.
