Once excellent, now no better than the free apps I used to rely on this dictionary, with its excellent conjugation and declension tables, which have all been removed in this later edition (as has the useful audio). What if you want to check the present participle of a verb, hear a tricky pronunciation, or see if the genetive plural of a noun is irregular or not? The logic behind this edition seems to be to give grammar tables and expect the users to work it out for themselves: there's no confirmation, one of the most important functions of a dictionary.
Oxford Russian Dictionary Wildcard search is unreliable. Updated to Android 4.4 on Asus tablet - wildcard search still unreliable.
Good but could be improved I purchased this app because it's the only one that gives you all info about a verb, including whether it is perfective or imperfective. Shame it doesn't include a few basic words like "everybody"! How is that possible?
Good dictionary I love that this dictionary has a huge vocabulary and all the stress marks included, but the interface could be improved.
It's a joke!!!! They used "Oxford" name with no shame to produce a bogus dictionary. I've played with it for a while just to discover that some even basic vocabulary is missing which any primitive online english-russian app would do with no trouble. Shame it's too late to claim my money back
Dictionary is great, interface usable. Android's voice search works in both directions (may be limited to newer Android versions). It would be nice if the search box could auto-select the language. I'd also love it if the word of the day widget could be Russian-English instead of only the other way around. Reverse translation within a definition is a nice feature, but doesn't work on inflected words (which in a Russian sentence is most of them!) If auto-stemming can't be added, could we have the option to edit the search if it fails?
