I upgraded to premium for the TTS function. It only reads some books in my collection. Alice in Wonderland goes fine but with other books it doesn't even appear in the menu. The voice of the TTS isn't very natural. It sounds a bit robotic. It doesn't always read words correctly either. I thought this might be the case but was hoping for better. If the TTS function worked for all my books then I would give four stars. Until it can read all of them it will remain three stars.
My system automatically upgraded the UB Reader the other day. I have the Premium version. I find I have lost the shortcut to main screen. Does qanyone know how to retreive it? I liked having the cover of my current 'read' on my opening screen. I have an Android glalxy 5. I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.
5 stars goes 4. Please fix the issue with the text selection. When I mark text to select it for note or highlight it's not accurate, it always unmarks the text I'm actually trying to select. It's really annoying.
This app has the worst performance I have seen on a book reader. It takes at least 3 seconds to switch between pages and has consistent performance hiccups. I will move to aldiko, thanks for nothing UB reader
I have used this app for more than two years, and buying the full version is one of the only mobile purchases I've made. I highly recommend this app to all of my friends
They want to charge you to convert mobi files on what is supposed to be a universal reader. The kindle app is free... stupid move

* We need the READ_PHONE_STATE permission on devices with OS version 4-5. This allows us to pause the Text-To-Speech upon an incoming call.
