I upgraded to premium for the TTS function. It only reads some books in my collection. Alice in Wonderland goes fine but with other books it doesn't even appear in the menu. The voice of the TTS isn't very natural. It sounds a bit robotic. It doesn't always read words correctly either. I thought this might be the case but was hoping for better. If the TTS function worked for all my books then I would give four stars. Until it can read all of them it will remain three stars.

5 stars goes 4. Please fix the issue with the text selection. When I mark text to select it for note or highlight it's not accurate, it always unmarks the text I'm actually trying to select. It's really annoying.

This app has the worst performance I have seen on a book reader. It takes at least 3 seconds to switch between pages and has consistent performance hiccups. I will move to aldiko, thanks for nothing UB reader

This is a pretty good ebook reader and it's actually one of the best ones out there. The only issue I have is that there is no way to view maps or illustrations closely unlike other e-readers. I have books which have map illustrations, (especially my fantasy novels), which I can't closely look because the e-reader doesn't have the option. If you can allow or fix this I'll definitely give it 5 stars.

It's a great app which provides for a great reading experience. I've completed lengthy books such as Stephen King's IT and Nathan Hill's The Nix using it. What I would love is to see is for the user to be able to create a sort of reading schedule that suits his/her time frame. That would be a great addition. Also, a reminder, too, to alert the user to read.

Perfectly fine, went to this app from a free app because I enjoyed how it looked/worked. However about a week or two after purchasing the TTS no longer works. The last update caused an error that the app no longer has permission to read phone state. If this was fixed I would definitely rate 5 stars.

I love this app and that's why I bought it. But to be honest, there's so many things that could be improved, especially when it comes to PDF viewing... I.e. easy page-width zoom (double tap), vertical page scrolling etc. Just use your own app and read some pages of a PDF... There's so much to do for usability! Bump. I'm former iDevice user. One thing and another i've been forced to use Android. And this is the closest experience i've had while reading ebook, compared to when i was using iBooks. Importing an ebook is easy, no complication process whatsoever, and no internet. It really close to iBooks. But why 4 stars? I have an issue with the bookmarks. It took way too long only to mark. While marking you can't do anything, not even move to next/previous page which is annoying for me. Fix that and 5 stars will be yours. Thank you - Update jul 12th : still the bug mentioned above.

You guys are very greedy. The so called universal book reader only supports epub and pdf format. And for other formats we have to convert it to either epub or pdf. That's not all, we have to pay for the conversions. What a stupid thing. There are other ebook readers with rich features and support for more formats are available for free. If you keep like this then you guys are going to lose big for sure.

However, in Android versions 4/5 we need to have READ_PHONE_STATE permission in order to be able to pause Text-To-Speech during an incoming call. Nice app...love the user defined bookshelves and folder option... BUT ... will only work with PDF or epub files ...add more formats and it would be the only reader I would ever use
