The Need for Data Encryption Software
You've likely heard plenty of stories of stolen laptops and major security breaches affecting businesses and government agencies. Not only could it be financially disastrous for your company's sensitive data (or your personal information) to fall into the wrong hands, it could also harm your company's reputation.
In addition, failing to secure confidential data could get you in trouble with data protection authorities. For example, the EU's proposed General Data Protection Regulation, which is aimed to be adopted in 2014 and implemented in 2016, would impose fines of up to €1,000K or up to 2 percent of annual global sales for intentionally or negligently not complying with specific General Data Protection Regulation regulations.
The app initially generates a pair of keys on the base of the EC (Elliptic Curve) Cryptografie algorithm. The strength of this key is 521 bits.
The sending of the message between A and B generates a key with a length of 256 bits. This key is used to encrypt the message with the symmetrically Twofish method.
This key encrypted by the public key of B is then sent to the server. Only then will A be able to extract this key with his private key .
A downloads this key, decrypts it and then uses it to decrypt the message.
B can now do the same.
By this procedure you get a GSM-based SMS 521bit encryption!
Masq uses very strong encryption (AES-256) to keep your SMS conversations as private as you are. You can also edit the text messages you've received or sent that are stored on your phone.

Explanation of Permissions:
SEND_SMS, READ_SMS, WRITE_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS
These are obviously used to deal with sms messages.
This is used to be able to get contact information.
This is used if you decide to save your Keystore onto your sd card.
