Many reviews here are negative because they don't understand how this device works. It does exactly what it's designed to do at about the price you would expect. When you connect to it, it is using a wifi connection and modern phones will detect that it doesn't have Internet access and automatically disconnect. You have to force your phone to remain connected to the device's wifi anyway and the way of doing that is different for every phone - hence the instructions not including that.

It was fun while it lasted, I got like 4-5 good uses out of it before it stopped working. It never required a password before now it does. I've charged it and the pen over heats to quickly. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app as well. Either gonna have to buy a new one for $25-$40 dollars, or find a different brand that will actually hold up

works as advertised. the difficulty comes with cleaning the lens. difficult to get a clear picture even with the brush provided and lens cleaners. I finally solved it by looking at the lens through a magnifying app, a magnifying glass would work as well. with that I was able to clear the bits of wax off the lens surface using a pin. be careful not to scratch the lens though. I think it works best at 3x magnification
