I've been using Monarch for 3-4 months now and am very satisfied with its user interface, no ads/data mining approach, and connectivity capabilities. The interface is very well designed and a breeze to navigate through. The paid subscription, while a bit high, is still acceptable. Finally, connection with all my accounts mostly works-my active, daily drivers all integrate however a few of my lies active accounts won't connect such as my mortgage provider and 2fa security enabled brokerage.

Do not sign up for a yearly subscription until you've used it for a couple months. Signed up fine during the trial, initial sync was good. Sync quickly broke. Since then, they had me use an alternative method to sync, and it's worked pretty good since then. Still on month to month for now but I find the app to be better than my banks app, and better than Mint Happy to keep paying for what it does now

Excellent app and website app (6 months in). Solid performance as an app. Finance-wise, I've tried several different ones over the past 2 years (mint, ynab, simplifi, tiller). There isn't a one-size fit; it depends, in part, on your financial situation and budgeting style. However, as far as functionality, customization, account connection stability, customer service support, Monarch has been stellar. If you have a particular approach (eg., zero budget), Monarch allows you to customize setup.
