PROTECTION CALCULATION — CIRCUIT BREAKER AND RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE
Determine the appropriate circuit breaker rating: check IB ≤ In ≤ Iz, curves B, C, and D. Select the 30 mA residual current device, type A or AC. Automatic selection based on circuit type (lighting, sockets, cooktops, etc.).
SHORT-CIRCUIT CALCULATION
Calculate the short-circuit current Icc at the end of the line. Verify the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker. Take upstream impedance into account.
