New Version 5.0.4 is buggy and does not work as well as previous versions. Trying to use mobile deposit is an exercise in futility, I tried on Android phone, Android Tablet and Apple IPad, all devices had issues. Examples are long waits with spinning wheel, after submitting, one deposit approval email came and app was still spinning, App never finished. Also it keeps prompting to retake front picture, I finally exited from camera with out taking picture, and deposit was submitted. It also told me I was offline once, when I was online. Camera mode on Ipad gets confused and shows check at 90 deg. or shows at partial screen with no accept/retake buttons. Webster should recall this update immediately!
Terrible I only downloaded app so I could avoid going to a branch or atm since the one in my area that's convenient is horrible. Deposit function is futile. No matter how many attempts never works.
Coming from Bank of America this app in comparison is very basic. It needs major improvement in regards to functionality. NO fingerprint sign in, NO running balance with each transaction, No transaction details unless you view each transaction separately. Webster please update your app!
Cant sign in without updates If your going to have updates, make easier on the app. Had to go directly thru google, stop accessing personal data !
Waaaaay behind in terms of usability No fingerprint authentication; have to open each transaction to see what it is; Mobile deposits just suck... period. Doesnt focus, no way to use led flash for lighting, etc; if using a PIN for login, only authenticates for quickview... have to then enter password to do anything else; no running balance with each transaction; and possibly the dumbest issue EVER: NO WAY TO VIEW YOUR FULL ACCOUNT OR ROUTING NUMBER... AT ALL! Pathetic to say the least.
Love it I've never had a problem with the Webster bank app. These people that are having problems must be the same people who will be voting for Hillary or Bernie... Idiots
When signing in from a registered mobile device, you'll only need your user name and password. Your personal picture and caption will no longer appear. You do not need to do anything to get ready for this change and your user name and password will remain the same.
