About the YES !:
The YES! - Young Economic Summit is the largest German school competition on economic and social challenges for teams from grades 10 to 12. It has been under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy since 2015.

Schoolchildren work together with researchers from renowned institutes to develop their own solutions for regional and global challenges in business, society, politics and the environment.
The teams present and discuss their results at regional finals and decide for themselves which teams will represent their region at the national finals.
The winning ideas for the YES! - Young Economic Summit selected. Here the teams discuss with experts from business, politics, think tanks, universities and (inter) national organizations.

The competition is a joint project by the ZBW - Leibniz Information Center for Economics and the Joachim Herz Foundation.

The ZBW - Leibniz Information Center for Economics is the world's largest information infrastructure for economics and is part of the Leibniz Association.

The Joachim Herz Foundation is an economically independent and politically neutral foundation. She has extensive experience in the conception and implementation of projects for young people, especially in the field of economic education.

Together with researchers from renowned institutes, students develop their own solutions to regional and global challenges in the economy, society, politics and the environment.
The teams present and discuss their results at the regional finals. They decide for themselves which teams will represent their region at the national finals.

At the national finals in September, the teams discuss their ideas with experts from business, politics, think tanks, universities and (inter) national organizations. The students again vote for their favorite ideas to determine the top 3 winning solutions.
