What's the point?!! You can buy Moto only on Flipkart. Mainly you buy for exchange of your old device. Flipkart takes your old mobile back' before you open the new moto... so you have no time to transfer the info at all!!! Now that's an ROFL app he he. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU GIVE THE OPTION TO BACKUP/ RESTORE VIA LAPTOP / MACBOOK. Otherwise this is pure MUCK!
I did a factory reset on my Moto G phone. But my personal settings, apps, contacts etc. did not get restored into my phone even after adding the same Google account. Motorola Migrate provides a mechanism to transfer data between two phones but not restore the backed up content of the same phone before the reset. Please help.
I don't get it It does not show how to migrate. Just a start button and scan screen on both phones, HTC and Motorola. What am I doing wrong?
Couldn't get the app to work. I was replacing my phone because the rear facing camera wasn't working. Imagine my surprise when I tried to use Migrate and it gave me a QR code! That I can't scan... I was able to retrieve all my data from my verizon cloud, but still. Since the app technically did nothing wrong, I'm giving it a three out of five.
I used this to migrate from a Samsung S3 to a Moto E and my contacts did not transfer completely and my calendar did not migrate at all. I will have to try and transfer the data manually.
Does not work on a Nexus 6 I just bought the Nexus 6 factory unlocked. I was trying to migrate my pictures from my first generation Moto X to the new phone. When I would open this app off on the Nexus, it would immediately take me to the screen for migrating content from the Nexus to another phone and would not allow me to select an option to migrate files from an old phone to the Nexus. According to Motorola tech support, it doesn't work because the Nexus is not a Motorola phone????? Absolutely no help!
