Motorola Connect retiring This is the message I received via my laptop today: "The Motorola Connect Chrome Extension will be retired in November 2015. Alternate solutions in Google Play Store that consumers have found useful include MightyText and Pushbullet." This app is great, and its primary & initial purpose was to provide access to your phone's SMS text messages via a computer. Now the Chrome extension is being retired. So this is extremely disappointing.
Micro Pwr Pack & Droid Turbo Since lollipop on turbo Motorola Micro Power Pack disconnects quickly... Thats if I can even get it to connect. Tried everything. Clear bluetooth cache. Wiped partition. Full system wipe. Google searches for hours a couple times a month since July and no fix to be found. Get it together Motorola. Ive been a loyalist for over 15 years... This is killing me.
Small window! ♥ All of the other SMS to PC apps use up a whole browser tab. Yuck.
Thanks for nothing I didn't expect to get marshmallow for my gen 1 moto X but there is no good reason to pull this app after you announce no upgrade for these devices . You could have kept this up until people upgraded their phones naturally. I use this every day at work and now one of the only viable alternatives wants to charge $40 a year. Lenovo is making it hard to love Motorola.
This worked flawlessly from June when I got my Moto X (2nd gen) until a few days ago. Now it's USELESS. I'm not sure what updated in order to break, but the connection between the phone and the Chrome extension has been crap since then, either being too 'poor' to work, or like 90% of the time the extension is simply disconnected and can't speak to my phone. It doesn't matter what I do... restart phone, sign out of extension, remove and re-install extension, disable/enable Connect, etc... nothing works. When it DOES connect (rare) I can only see the incoming texts on my PC... outgoing doesn't just fail, but it will soon after disconnect yet again. It's not my wireless... everything else works fine, and my phone's WiFi strength is 'Excellent', so something completely broke somewhere!
Great Loved it. Works just like I need it to. Some connectivity issues from time to time, but then again, what DOESNT have connectivity issues nowadays. just deal. We don't gotta be little bitches about it. *mic drop*
