The app is useful to monitor multiple accounts/transactions but the banking piece is something less than useful. I do not recommend you use your Moven account as your primary checking because if/when there is an issue the support system is ineffective and your money is held up until you wade through the myriad of "run arounds" and "delays". Absolutely the worst banking experience next to Bank of America.
Just another prepaid card I really thought that this was going to be good. Rather than go into a big time consuming review. Had a major online retailer got my account 3 times back to back . Move paid it ,I disputed nothing ,also why can't I get transaction statement ?well you can after contacting customer support and DAYS later they respond .oh when they did and i asked for a cust serv number i got some random Six digit number. Cant really show your phone to the irs or the bank when you need to show income etcif your looking for customer service this isn't it .REALLY !Moven?
At first I loved the card, company and would recommend it to people but now:HELL NO! I had an unauthorized transaction on my card and wanted to dispute it,do you think anyone has helped me? Hell no! I've been contacting these people since Wednesday, the same day it happened: still nothing! I called more than once and sent six emails. Talk about crappy customer service! After doing research, I will be using another company! First and last time Moven will disappoint me!
Their security measures aren't up to par. They mailed my debit card (with personal info) in an unsealed, open, entirely unsecured envelope. God knows how many random individuals could have copied the information within the unsealed envelope, including the info on my debit card. I contacted customer support regarding this. I explained I had waited two weeks for my card to arrive, waiting another two weeks would hinder the plans I've made. The option they provided… I would have to pay $30.00 to have the card expedited. I’m being penalized through no fault of my own. I really would have appreciated if they acknowledged their mistake and provided a fair solution as quickly as possible. You know. I wished for “customer service”. “Moven” on to my other option. ***Personal thoughts*** I was happy to see all the alternative options to common banking. Research led me to two possible choices. Simple vs Moven. I chose the underdog. The team with the lesser rating. I chose Moven. I felt and said to myself, “I could have a better customer service experience with Moven. They reply to comments!” How great was that. I was wrong. A mere hello with the absence of solutions.
I love this card. If helps keep track of how much I'm spending and if I'm having a problem with the card the moven staff are very friendly and helped me fix it in just a few minutes. I love it
I don't think this has stock trading on it, unless you do it thru a special bank. And I'm glad about that. I really like this app. designers keep up the good work with these apps! Thank you 💖💓😚 😚
