Got the card in the mail yesterday and it is not activated yet. The number on the card only loose around to the app and they have not responded back to me after a long time. I'm at the theater trying to watch a movie and I can't on a service that supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread. Very upset depending on how they fix this issue will be whether I keep it or not.
I love MoviePass, I haven't had any trouble with the app it works perfectly. My parents gave me a 3-month subscription on Christmas. I got an email from MoviePass 4 days later saying that the card would be coming in 2 weeks the movie pass card actually came in the mail in only 7 days. I went to a movie that very night after getting the card in the mail. I have gone to three movies already and I only got the card 5 days ago. I'd give it more than 5 Stars if I could, 30 stars ... 30 movies a month for about $10 a month is awesome. I really hope that anyone that is having problems with their Movie Pass membership gets it figured out and starts using it because it is awesome.
So far have enjoyed the service with no problems, have seen many movies, and saved much money. Cards took a long time to come in the mail, and as several people have mentioned customer service is non existant, have never gotten a response to anything i have asked from email or app support. Am wondering how i am going to cancel if i need to...
I'm not sure but I can't seem to check into any movies playing my theater. It keeps saying (unauthorized) I checked I did pay my last bill n will be charge on the 10th again but hopefully its a bug in the app that will be fixed for me because I do want to see 3 movies currently out. Waiting on an email from. Customer service other than this issue it's been some great months with this plan
Great deal for your money. But absolutely ZERO customer service. The app will randomly stop working. About once a week or so, it will stop allowing you to make reservations. When this happens there is nothing you can do. Tried closing it and reopening. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. I emailed the company and they have yet to respond. This was 2 weeks ago. Still a great deal. But if you plan a movie date and you're relying on moviepass, you better have a plan B ready too
The service is great! It's definitely a huge money saver. My only complaints are the sign up process is not very fluid, it's best done on a computer, and their support center seem to respond. But, my card came quickly and I saw 5 movies my first month. A HUGE savings, considering movies are no longer 6 or 7 bucks, lol. Enjoy the show!
The service is ok, the app sucks. I went to see a movie, checked in, but it was sold out. Clicked the change mind button and the app hung. I excited and restarted now I can't pick a different movie. It says "reservation pending". I also can't go back to the original and try to cancel it. Also the app keeps making me re sign in at random times.
