Update: They automatically let other users with a premium subscription through your filter. This is unacceptable. It even popped up with a verified badge. I had no idea who it was. Just because someone is paying you doesn't mean that someone isn't going to give them a fake number (mine is commonly given as one due to it being a simple pattern), they won't misdial, or that they have good intentions. I don't want people getting through the contacts only filter unless they are a contact.

This was once a very good app. Now I keep getting an error message to the effect "Something went wrong". I tried the Hiya upgrade and must say that was a total bust. DO NOT use the free Hiya. It changed several of my alert and notification settings and will not allow me to set things back. Had to uninstall to regain control of my sound and alert settings. There are other blockers out there, but finding a reliable one is the challenge.

Decent app with the old free version. It would identify most spam calls as spam, but still let them ring several times before "blocking" them. Has lost some key features over the years like reverse number lookup. The caller ID feature gave an incorrect name most of the time. Now that the upgrade requires you to pay for those same basic and bug filled features without adding anything of extra value, I advise everyone to look elsewhere for a better app from a better company.
