The app shows the name if you call a number that is not in the contact list, ie auto search for outgoing calls. All searches from 1881 Mobilsøk goes towards Opplysningen 1881's database which ensures high quality. These resources are needed to give you the app's core functionality with "See who's calling", "See who's texts" and "save contact." The information is handled only locally on your phone and not copied or shared.

SMS GROUPS:
- Create groups and easily send SMS to several at once. (note; no group conversation)
- Your groups will be stored in a cloud solution so you can keep these when reinstalling the app, changing the phone, etc. (storage can be turned off during settings)

TELEPHONE MEETING (no extra cost):
- Set up and call for conference call simply - from the group solution or from the conference call menu.
- The notice is sent by SMS with a link to the website with an overview of the meeting, including the attendance list, and a link to the calendar entry.
- The conference call costs only local rates - for both "owner" and participants.
- No PIN for invited participants (PIN follows mobile number automagically)

1881 Mobile search is a prepaid subscription service and costs 49, - NOK per month and comes on your mobile bill. New customers have 30 days free after startup, with automatic renewal. You will be notified by SMS when billing. The service can be stopped at any time by sending SMS with "Stop Mobile Search" until 1881 and you keep the service out of the contract period.

Ratings and reviews

This app is a scam. They charge you without warning just for downloading the app! Ridiculous. I Uninstalled the app after one minute when I realized they required you to buy a subscription to actually see who calls. NO WHERE did I accept paying for their service and now suddenly I get a bill in the mail. DO NOT download this app!

This is NOT free.. They range at the top in "Free apps".. Yes the apk file you install is free but they charge you for using it. BE AWARE! it's also not very cheap in my opinion..

There should be warning in the description that we will be auto-subscribed by installing this app. It is not fair that we get added to a subscription by installing this app and we need to send a paid SMS to unsubscribe:/
