Could do with improvement The chess pieces are hard to see. The ai's moves are too quick making it difficult to see where he has moved. The in-game menu and settings offers no description and does not have a "are you sure?" selection when accidentally ending the current game. Rahter get Chess Free or Chesspresso, its plain and simple but it works.
More boards and pieces would be nice. Also the view is a little to far away from the board. It's hard to see which pieces are mine and also hard to select pieces and squares because the view's back so far. Other than that very nice. Online tournaments would be cool. As would Bluetooth play and an option to play over the internet with a select person via a user name system. A friends list would be even better. Graphics are done very well throughout though. Has the potential to be one of the best chess games on the market.
Fine chess and fine themes This is a fun and interesting way to play chess. I've always loved the historical Napoleon theme, so it sort of combines the ultimate battle feel of competitive chess with a tabletop war game. My chief complaint is with the documentation. Guys, honestly, get someone who knows the English language. Please. It's incredibly annoying to read something that's meant to sound professional and have it read like someone who just got off the boat. Don't misconstrue this as hate. I wouldn't have given them my money.
Bad controls Horrible controls. Cannot turn board for crap. Zoomed out to far. Cant hardly tell difference between pawns n bishops. Great idea of using soldiers for the pieces but this game isnt worth being free let alone 1.99 for any in game purchases.
Have to pay $3 to get the soldiers? It's just chess. If the soldiers had actually come with it, I'd have paid for the extra uniforms of the different regiments. Sadly the basic chess game is badly realised and the controls make it hard to turn the board. The graphics are good except the important chess pieces - pawns, bishops are hard to distinguish.
Don't get fooled If your like me and looking for a chess app where you can watch them actually cut at each other and thought this Napoleon one would be great, turn around. You don't get them unless you lay 3 dollars. Terrible way of getting baited
The epic bubble shooting adventure game is back with its latest bubble war saga.
