About this app

Municipium is the app most used by Italian municipalities to inform citizens and businesses in their area. You can download and install it for free on your smartphone or tablet and it allows you to read important news, see events and receive the communications of your interest for any organization you want.
Is your municipality not yet on municipium? The contents are not updated? Are not all the listed services available? Open a report on https://www.municipiumapp.it/web/#contact-form and we will inform the institution.
For each municipality on Municipium you can find:

    • News and Events: here you will find utility news, geolocated events and push notifications for important notices.

    • Useful Info: from institutional information to curiosities, your Municipality can share any content.

    • Smart waste: if your municipality has the "door to door" option, you can consult the digital calendar online and set the automatic reminder that reminds you what to give on the street or consult the map of all the collection and transfer points.

    • Interactive maps: here you can find the addresses of the municipal offices, the headquarters of associations and the places of interest of the Municipality organized on interactive maps, accompanied by information sheets.

    • Reports and suggestions: with the app you can send reports to the Municipality in a secure and confidential way, with the possibility of inserting photos and a simple description and if you need to also geolocate the report.

    • Smart fines: here you can view and pay a road traffic penalty directly from your smartphone.

    • Smart demographics: with this service you can request a personal certificate and receive it via email directly from your smartphone. For access you must use SPID.

    • Smart taxes: here you can see listed the payments you have made or have yet to make. For access you must use SPID.

    • Civil Protection: you can receive news and updates on alerts and risks in the area, consult weather reports, geolocated warnings, useful numbers to contact in the event of an emergency and you can view the municipal emergency plan and the rules of conduct to manage situations of danger.

    • Surveys: here you can express your opinion on issues of local interest.

Note: for optimal use of the app it is recommended to enable geolocation and receiving notifications on your smartphone.
