The new FLOW Mix App for Android tablets and mobile phones offers wireless remote control for the Behringer FLOW 8 Digital Mixer. This App is using Bluetooth BLE to connect to the hardware.

The FLOW Mix App offers musicians, producers or engineers control of all mixer parameters. This includes levels, panning, eq, compression and effects as well as snapshot memory.

The user interface is designed for comfortable operation on tablets as well as small-format smartphones, with intuitive operation guiding even inexperienced users to a world of great sound with their FLOW mixer.

Ratings and reviews

Could be better. Eq Graph is one of the biggest weaknesses and it doesn't make any sense why it was not done right from the beginning. Unfortunately behringer is best at value for money hardware but their digital mixer apps are allways either neglected or poorly developed sooner or later. If mixing station came out with an app for Flow 8, it would have brought this little mixer to the next level but unfortunately this is not gonna happen since flow 8 uses Bluetooth for communication...

A great app, but one thing missing - a real time analyser so we can combat feedback or ring out a room without needing another device. Even if we were able to see the offending frequency/ies so we can use the clunky PEQ to fix it. Other than this - it's a solid piece of kit.

Great except for one thing The Good: This app makes the Behringer Flow 8 much better. I love being able to be in the audience for sound checks and live mixing. The bad: Per-channel mute. The first time I used my Flow 8 for a live event, I went into each channel to activate Mute. It was a big pain when I needed to quickly mute channels. Later I learned that there were in facr mute buttons on the main screen. 6 months later they were gone! WHY did you remove these buttons? Please put them back!

What’s new

Match Device Language (ENG, GER, SPA, CHI)
The app interface now automatically displays in English, German, Spanish, or Chinese based on the device’s system language.
Display in English Regardless of Device Language
A new checkbox in the Preferences screen allows the app to display in English regardless of the device’s language settings.
– When enabled, the app always uses English.
– When disabled, the app matches the device’s language if it is supported.
