I really loved the old hans wehr app where it was basically a searchable book. This feels like a disembodied mess. The app works perfectly, in some ways it has even more functionality than the old app. But I loved that you could search trilateral Arabic roots using English letters, and now you can't. You used to be able to see how the word fit in the dictionary, what was around it, and now you can't, because the developers prefer just the text to be displayed, and not the book.

I very much like the new overhauled version of the app for the famous Hans Wehr Dictionary! It even has a list of occurrences for Qur'anic words! You can choose the color of the search bar, the background and highlight colors, and much more! There are also many fonts available. It has a link to Quranle, an app to learn the Qur'an, and another link to some collections of hadiths.

Simple and easy to use methodology. Just type in Arabic and get the result. Arabic language contains many words which don't have a literal translation in modern languages. What sets this dictionary apart is the efforts to get as near as possible in providing the exact translation. Recommended for all, the novices, the learners and the masters.
