I will be honest, I haven't used all the features available, but I am assuming they work. What I love most though is that various swiping and gesture settings are optional. Too many apps try to force that crap and it's fine for some things, but not others. I also love the option to recognise or not the .nomedia file. Now I don't have to unhide my porn every time I want to watch it, just quickly uncheck "recognise nomedia". That alone deserves 5-stars.
I use this app as default player on all my devices. However Recently it stopped playing AC3 audio... Yes. I know it's not entirely your fault, but please offer a solution like other apps did (VLC for example). lack of AC3 makes the app quite useless for me :-(
The newest update was supposed to bring AC3 support but it doesn't work on my Nexus Player. This new update also broke support for my custom codec packs so I can't get AC3 support there either. This really sucks because I used to really love this app but now I can't use it until the AC3 support is fixed on the Nexus Player (x86). Will re-rate when fixed.
In the latest Pro-version app doesn't show "building subtitle cache" dialog, while Free version does. At first it confused me as it seemed like the app has hanged up. Other than that I think it's ultimate player for Android with both slick design and fullness of features. Just waiting for "ordered chapters" support.
Came from VLC. MX Player is great but has few annoying bugs: Sound goes away if app is minimised and reopened while playing a movie. Changing the decoder solves the problem (or restarting the app). When using split screen there is often a black transparent banner from the menu. It does often not go away. Really hope these things get fixed soon otherwise I'll have to go back to VLC.
## MX Pro Pretty swift media player. Seek through +1080p videos ultra-fast while seeing the actual image. It has zoom + pan, Speed up and down all in real time. ### Pet peeve No equalizer. :/
