Review from A Google User
Awesome player~ Deserves support! Wish it can play VOB files... DVD movies on mobile would look great~! Update: looks like it supports VOB files now. Haven't tested, but that's awesome!
Best video viewing available. Does what it claims to do, well beyond my expectations! That's why I paid for it lol. It is great! The volume and brightness adjustments are stellar and convienent. My only complaint, is that it has increasingly become more difficult to delete videos within the app. Aside from that, I highly recommend this app! Way smoother and easier to use than VLC and similar apps.
I had to rate it one star because developer doesn't care for their users. This application becomes useless when you are working on something else and the same time you want to watch some videos. VLC doing a lot better than this, at least we can watch videos in a floating view. Please let me know how can I get refund.
Great video player. Unfortunately since a recent upgrade DVB-T subtitles are displayed incorrectly if you seek within the video. Fix this and it will be five stars from me. Update 31 October 2017. Now on version 1.9.10 and the display of DVB-T subtitles is still broken. I e-mailed the developer on the e-mail address listed on Google Play three months ago and did not even get an acknowledgement.
This would be five stars if the app didn't keep asking me to review it. Stop pestering your paid customers for their opinions. Give an option to opt out of being asked the first time round. Now it won't stop telling me to update. Stop annoying your paying customers!
Overall it is excellent. However, I have sent 2 messages in the last 4 weeks to highlight the fact that it will not play an mpeg2 video and have had no response and that is why I am rating it 3 because the customer service has been poor so far.
Been using for many years for both audio and video, no others compare in my opinion. In particular: It will play my audio files in folders instead of playlists. For video it has easy brightness and volume controls by sliding fingers across the screen and supports srt subtitles. For a while, there was occasional sketchy AC3 support requiring tricky workarounds but that seems all cleared up now. Ended up paying for the Pro version simply because I wanted to offer support for such a superior app.
