Only the website checker works on Google Nexus 5x and Pixel. On Motorola X Play, with Chrome as default browser, it selects the safe browser in CM Security Master, which proves that it works. On Moto G (3rd gen), Chrome runs slowly after installation due to the phone's limitations (4.56 GB available RAM). Since my phones already have secure browser feature in CM Security Master, I will stay with it. Even so, the Chrome extension works well on my PC.
Don't trust them, they were caught selling users' browser history to third parties, including personally identifiable information. And they have the nerve to call themselves "Webs of TRUST" and claim that they provide online security... Don't believe me? Google "WOT sells browser history ". Firefox, Chrome and Opera dropped their add-on and lifehacker suggested users uninstall immediately....I sure have. There are plenty of other legitimate apps and extensions our there that don't violate their users' trust like WOT has done
Have used this service for years, but today I see a fatal flaw... @realJamesWoods Twitter page is wrongly rated as Adult content and unsafe and has a warning for his page. Clearly politically motivated and problematic for someone who wants to believe WOT for guidance while surfing the Internet. If WOT allows political motivated ratings to persist, I can't see ever using it...
Doesn't work like the website or like the browser/firewall it wants to be You can't login to the website acct so you have to completely start over with your reviews. You also cannot give a thumbs up or down on the reviews of others. It asks if you want to open links here instead of Firefox, which was my default browser before I installed this.
Well first off when I first downloaded this for my PC I thought it was a great idea, the only problem here is you should have completed this so it could be used as an extension off of Chrome searches and when you get to the site where it is rated bad with the option to enter or not. Just keep working on it I know you guys will figure it out
I like it but there's just one problem - I use the preinstalled Chrome browser and Chrome gives me no choice but to disable it. Otherwise I feel safe using this app. I have it on my PC as well.
