Does not link I can't believe dlink have so many apps none of which will work. I bought two share centre nas drives. I can connect on a laptop, but no android app has yet been able to access them. And why so many different apps? Just one, that works, would be fine. I guess I 'm going to have to replace the dlinks with another brand.
Horrible beyond words Didn't expect much, since users have already paid for the drive. But this app still managed to surprise with how completely unusable it is. Kept asking me to update my firmware but the website has no firmware to update to. Complete waste of money.
Rubbish It couldn't find the server. I copied the address from the app and pasted that into my browser and then it was found. What a waste of time. Don't bother with it. The ONLY good thing is that it's free. Haha.
It has the potential to be a good app. It is great for file explorer, but not so good for media player. It does not play very well with multitasking (developers, lower the "nice" value please). If I open one or two apps, it closes this app. No good for music player and doing other stuff. To make it even worse, when you open the app back again, it has to sign in again, and browse to folder again, it does not remember the last location (very annoying!) . My phone is not that bad, it has 2GB of memory, it should not be an issue. It happens even if I close all other apps. My wish list. 1. Chromecast support! 2. Video to be played in other apps like VLC for greater codec support.
Another useless Dlink app!! Wasted hours trying to log in or connect to NAS but will not wirk & zero support. ES File Explorer is far better.
Abandoned app Why has this app been abandoned (last update was in 2012)? I use it almost daily and would like some added functionality like remote restarting the NAS when I'm seeing some issues and accessing the logs.
