STuC — Steam Turbine Calculator — calculates the expansion of saturated or superheated steam in a straight condensing or backpressure turbine using the IAPWS-IF97 steam tables. Built for engineering estimates, teaching, and quick “what if” checks on the go.

HOW IT WORKS
• Set inlet pressure, inlet temperature and exhaust pressure with sliders
• Choose what to solve for with the calculate icon: power, mass flow or isentropic efficiency
• The other two operating quantities stay inputs; results update live as you drag
• See exhaust temperature, volumetric flows and enthalpy drops at a glance
• Exhaust wetness is highlighted below 90 % / 85 % steam content
