Metro Rest is exactly what you need for your daily routes with the public transportation of Athens.. and most importantly... It can be used offline!

Many of us use daily the Metro, Tram or even the Suburban Railway. Sometimes though, we may forget where we want to disembark. Metro Rest is an application that its main purpose is to notify you when you arrive at your destination or transfer station so that you can have a non-stressfull route without being worried about when and where you disembark. Instead you can relax, sleep, read your favorite book, gaze and do whatever you would like to, during your route, without wasting your time by just standing in the wagon.

Moreover, the application is useful for anyone who just wants to learn the route and the number of stops without necessarily getting notified.

It includes:
-- Line 1(METRO), Line 2(METRO), Line 3(METRO)

-- S.E.F. - Voula(TRAM), Syntagma - S.E.F.(TRAM), Syntagma - Voula(TRAM)

Trip duration has been rounded. For this reason it is placed a bar which gives the opportunity to the user to better adapt the time(in seconds) that he would like to be notified before he reaches destination.

--When user reaches destination is being notified by sound and vibration.

--The application does NOT require internet connection to operate.

Ratings and reviews

It's a very easy and useful application, but I think that it is missing a very crucial option; to be able to select stations among different e.g. metro lines or even among different transportation methods e.g. metro and tram.
