Decent app for tracking calorie intake. However, it's very clearly geared towards women looking to lose weight, whereas I'm male and trying to gain weight. Everything in the app is focused on reducing intake, and while it does let you choose to gain rather than lose, you always have the feeling it's doing something it's not designed to do. Technically it works fine, but the app is very slow and the barcode scanner is very very dark, and often fails to recognize products.

The subscriptions is too expensive. Used this app in the past for free off and on for years (mostly off) and it was great. Seems they got greedy, or know some people will pay $20 a month, at risk of alienating others. Free version is ok, but full of reminders to buy subscription for options that used to be included for free. $2-$5 would be more reasonable with $5 being an absolute hard cap. My mom did beta testing and got a year free, so that seems like the way to go.

Does not allow for tracking added sugar, despite being of staggering importance. Does not track vitamin D, an essential nutrient. Items recently deleted are still reappearing in the diary, despite devs being aware of this issue. Search bar no longer works on first try: frequent/recent entries must be searched for twice before relevant entries appear. Weight graph is poorly designed, dates in X values do not display a year, and no vertical lines on the graph to match the output with the input.
