Fantastic I use this app all day every day. I have been for about a year now. There is ton of food already in their system, and if you can't find a food in here it is a breeze to add your own. There is also a ton of various excercises and activities from running to mowing the lawn, and everything in between. As with the food you can also add in your own. I love my fitness pal. If you are trying to lose weight, control sugar and/sodium intake, or just want to make healthier food choices, this app will do it.
Keeps me honest and on track!! Since I began using the app I have gained a better perspective on how quickly calories add up throughout a day. I also realized I was sabotaging myself despite my hard exercise efforts. I have spent the last 4 years trying to loose a final 5lbs after having my children. After only using the app for 5 weeks I accomplished this goal. I would recommend the app to anyone who is either starting their weight loss journey or those who have hit a plateau. Very easy to use!
Great app to help you lose weight and get you into the best shape of your life, very informational and easy to use, I've gone from 239 to 223 in about 2 months. You just need to be committed to your goal, log your daily food intake, adjust your meals according to what it tells you, your lacking or consuming to much of, and lose the weight. If you meal prep its even easier to stay on track of your diet. Only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 is because its not able to sync with other apps on my galaxy 6.
Love it, but wish it would track net carbs and sugar alcohols Love the app! I used it years ago and didn't like it so they've made some great updates. Love that I can import recipes and edit them, love that it tracks exercise and water. My only complaint is that I need to go pro for net carbs and it doesn't track sugar alcohols.
Helps but could be improved I have a nutritionist so I use this to measure. I have no idea how the "this is what you should eat" part works. I would improve things like being able to copy items and not just meals from previous days. Also, when I search for "chicken" it will suggest items I have never eaten and make it impossible to find the item I scanned yesterday. Which makes no sense.
This could be a life changer for some...!!! This app has helped me curb my pre marathon eating habits that I could get away with. I'm loosing weight while still training hard and feel invigorated. The scanner and range of verified foods is astonishing and makes it simple. The fact it seamlessly links to STRAVA to update my calorie expenditure for every workout is brilliant. Anyone including personal trainers who need to keep comprehensive food diaries have to get this app.
