What I Needed Wide variety of food items, easy to manipulate, good tracking info.
User friendly and effective I was using a different calorie count app for quite awhile but recently switched to mfp. Loving the recipe functionality and the ability to scan barcodes.
Guid Just keeping a note of stuff helps keep it in check
Database needs improvement. (Addition: Getting intrusive ads nearly every time I log something now. You are becoming less and less likely to get any money from me. Will uninstall if no improvement.) If I'm going to start paying for Premium I need to see a big improvement in the nutritional info available. Stuff like potassium and sodium seldom included, so how can app possibly tell me which food was highest? Better verification of foods needed too, regular confusion of gm and mg amounts, completely throwing out nutrition info.)
For those who can't sign up If it keeps saying it can't process your registration at this time and you're a teenager, its probably because you need to be 18. It doesn't say so but that's why. I don't get why they restrict access to people under 18. Why can't younger people watch what they eat. What the heck.
