Food diary and calorie management This app provides you with a food diary that has access to an ever growing food database, complete with nutrition breakdown and hkelps manage your calorie intake, calculates your BMR and takes into account calories burned through exercise. Also gives useful insights into your food and prompts. The analysis tools have now been put behind a paywall, which sucks a little.
Great application for overall fitness control I started to use MyfitnessPal 6 months ago and I definitely recommend you to use for both calorie controlling and exercise planning. Calorie calculation is a big motivation source for weight loss. I also sync the app with Garmin Connect and the exercises that device measured are correctly appeared in the section. I lost 6kg already and let's keep moving ;)
Well it was a 4* The last update has made this app worse. It no longer syncs with fitbit to either add steps taken to my calorie allowance or to automatically update food into the fitbit tracker. I use this over fitbit to monitor my calories as I found the app easier to use however if the 2 are no longer compatible I will have to ditch my fitness pal.
Where is ad free version? I'll gladly pay a one time fee so I don't see another ad asking if I am taking birth control. An ad for 5 sex positions to try this weekend? Have some class! Stop wasting my bandwidth with this crap. Junk ads like this on on nearly every screen! Look at the app screen prints above. Other apps with ads don't offer sexual content. New low for this developer. sell an ad free version.
Great app This app has really helped with my weight loss. Handy that you can scan everything instead of scrolling through a list to find which one you've eaten. I've never had a more controlled diet!
Easy to use food tracker I found this app while searching for a calorie counter. One of its great features is the ability to scan the barcode of the purchased item that you are using and have the system search for the nutritional values. I'm not usually very consistent with using a food tracker, but this one makes it easy. Thank you for this tool! 2-14-16. Okay, nearly a year later, I still love this app! It has helped stay focused and being able to track exercises and see the impact helps a lot!
