It's a very nice app, but I wish it would have the option to put in different types of diets. I'm endo-keto for my autoimmune diseases, and it's constantly telling me to eat more calories and carbs which I cannot. Also tells me to eat less fat (good fats). If it had that option without going premium, I would give it a higher rating. Other than that I use the app daily and like it.
Love this app. Easy to use and has lots of foods listed on the database. Like that you can look at nutritional macros too. Only complaint is that when you import recipes for calorie count the instructions are not included. So you still have to save recipes mually to get cooking instructions. Also the ingredients import funky too so this part of the app doesn't work well.
I used to absolutely love this app, but now I can't even add half of my food items! I'll find it in the list, click the check mark, and... nothing. The items never show up in my diary. I tried everything to figure it out and since I only use this app to track my diet and calories, it's just not worth it to keep it installed if I can't use it.
The preset calorie settings for some things are off. Poptarts and ramen noodles are two things I noticed. Two poptarts are 380 calories but it's listed as half that. A pack of noodles is 380 calories but again listed as half that and these have the green dots next to it like it's verified. It's a calorie counting app that's the one thing that should be 100% right.
Great for counting calories. Not so good for figuring out how many calories. Just do the calculation yourself using the internet. Still 5 star app. Update: I too wish it would have a Ketogenic calculator. I've lost 9 lbs in 9 days, 75% of which was body fat. I can barely take in the deficit calories needed because I'm so full all the time.
5 minutes in and I hate it. I ran in MPH not KPH, I'm American. Also, I know ravioli isn't a normal breakfast food, but it's what I had, so let me add it to breakfast slot! And I had chicken strips for lunch, so that's where it should be added, not to both lunch and breakfast. Buggy as can be. I'll keep trying, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but having ravioli for breakfast seems pretty simple to me, but apparently not to the app.
