The new Carrier Home app features a contemporary look and feel that allows homeowners to control their Infinity system remotely.
The app features an enhanced homeowner experience, improved functionality and increased connectivity performance between the mobile device and their Infinity home comfort system. In addition, homeowners will be able to learn more about the air quality around their home, including a snapshot of various pollutants levels and the Air Quality Index in the atmosphere near them.
We update the app regularly to introduce new features and enhancements and look forward to your feedback.

Overall design of the app is somewhat poor. I can only assume it's because Carrier must be having a hard time finding UI designers post-covid or something. At least I hope they are employing software designers and not just software coders, since that's what it seems like when interacting with the app. Carrier needs to listen to their users more when it comes to features and layout. I will say though that some aspects of the app (like responsiveness) have gotten better over the past year or so.

Updated app is useless. I can no longer change thermostat settings and it doesn't even accurately reflect the settings. it said it was cooling to 71 when in fact it was cooling to 80. there was no way to change the thermostat from the app now. This used to be easy. another instance of 'fixing' what isn't broken. Fire your IT staff and start over.

The app lets me control our heat pump system remotely, and the Carrier Home app seems more stable than the older app. But my system is throwing error codes on the wall control panel, the fan motor is bad and needs replacement, yet there is absolutely no indication of a problem on the app. This is a major oversight.
